AC By Marriott St. Louis Central West End

Looking to stay in somewhere stylish in St. Louis?  Look no further than the newest addition to the AC brand, the AC by Marriott St. Louis Central West End. The AC by Marriott St. Louis Central West End is the first AC hotel in the city and is an exciting addition to their expansive portfolio. This prime location is in the heart of the retail district of St. Louis nestled between St. Louis University and the popular Forest Park neighborhood. If you didn’t already know, Forest Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States and bigger than Central Park in New York. The 192 room hotel was designed for the experienced traveler with an expansive fitness center, spacious guest-rooms, modest mix-use event space, and an upscale dining venue.

Our favorite part of staying at AC hotels is the guarantee that the rooms are modern and comfortable and this new property is no exception! The standardized plush bedding and spacious rooms that is expected of the brand is elevated at this hotel with extra high tech features. These special touches can be found all around the property including self check in kiosks, pelotons in the fitness center, and free wifi even in meeting rooms!

AC Hotel St. Louis Central West End also features artwork from nationally renown St. Louis born artist John O’ Hara. His abstract decorative art piece is featured in the AC Kitchen dining area. Take a minute to see his work and a sneak peek of the interior of this hotel in the preview gallery below.

One of the peak features of this hotel is its prime location! The bustling neighborhood is filled with boutiques, local restaurants, bars, and top attractions. The renowned St. Louis Zoo, Botanical Garden, and Gateway Arch are just a short drive away. During our stay, we took advantage of the hotel’s proximity to a few of the restaurants recommended below as well as the Gateway Arch. Commit to taking the elevator tour all the way to the top of this 630 foot masterpiece. It’s worth it!

After a day of sight-seeing, you are sure to build up an appetite. Luckily, there are plenty of options nearby. St. Louis is known for it’s amazing BBQ! We definitely recommend hitting a few BBQ spots while you are in town. Some must-try’s are Pappy’s Smokehouse, Bogart's Smokehouse, Salt and Smoke and Sugarfire Smokehouse.

Once your hands are clean from the left over BBQ sauce, make sure to stop by the AC Lounge for a night cap. You’ll find an array of specialty cocktails, including the AC Gin & Tonic. This delicately crafted favorite is made with Hendrick’s Gin, Fever Tree tonic and accompanied by star anise and lemon for your aromatics. Game over!
